MONTREAL — Transat A.T. Inc. says it’s going to droop all Air Transat flights out of Toronto till April 30, efficient tomorrow.
Transat spokeswoman Debbie Cabana says the airline may even droop some routes from Montreal for a similar interval.
The journey firm says the Canadian authorities’s new and stricter border entry necessities precipitated a decline in bookings, forcing the airline to revise its flight schedule.
The airline notified journey brokers of the cancellations in a memo Wednesday.
The memo obtained by The Canadian Press says passengers who paid for his or her flight or trip bundle with money or bank card will obtain a full refund.
It says passengers presently at their locations will likely be rebooked on flights returning to Canada.
